Athica is a relentless force in the Latin American metal scene, emerging from Panama in 2003 and igniting stages ever since. With three studio albums and over a decade of uncompromising sonic evolution, they’ve built a reputation for raw energy and musical precision.Known for their explosive live presence, Athica has toured across Europe and the Americas, including Mexico, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Colombia, and Costa Rica. In 2019, they made history as the first Panamanian band to perform at Wacken Open Air, followed by a crushing appearance at Tattoo Music Fest Bogotá 2023.They’ve shared stages with icons like Sepultura, In Flames, The Black Dahlia Murder, Suicide Silence, The Faceless, and more — affirming their place among the scene’s elite. In 2024, they opened for Sepultura in Panama and headlined Mupa Fest with overwhelming response.With brutal precision and global ambition, Athica is not just a band — it’s a movement born in Latin America and unleashed on the world.
